Which licence suits you?
Setting up your first server
If you will host a few sites on a single server, the smallest licence is enough. Moving up later does not require rebuilding the server.
Reseller or agency
If you will open separate accounts for clients you need a licence with a higher account limit; this is where WHM reseller accounts come in.
A WordPress-heavy server
Plesk’s WordPress Toolkit handles bulk updates, cloning and security scanning from a single screen.
Accounts fighting over resources
If one account’s load is slowing the others down, CloudLinux confines every account to its own CPU and memory limit so nobody can eat a neighbour’s resources.
A server at another provider
A licence is bound to the server’s IP address; there is no requirement to host with us. We guide you through installation.
If you do not want a panel at all
If you are comfortable managing the server from the command line you do not need a panel licence; it is a convenience, not a requirement.
Standard on every licence
Bound to an IP address
The licence is tied to your server’s IP address. You do not have to have bought the server from us; it works on a machine at another provider.
Moved when your IP changes
When you change servers we move the licence to the new IP address free of charge. You do not have to buy it again.
Updates included
Version updates and security patches are included for the life of the licence; you do not need to buy a separate maintenance package.
Monthly billing
Licences are billed monthly. You can try one without an annual commitment and turn renewal off if it is not for you.
Installation guidance
Installing the panel is yours to do, but our support team will point you in the right direction when you get stuck. We do not make changes on your server on your behalf.
No price surprises
If the supplier raises prices we tell you before passing it on. You will not meet a quietly increased renewal invoice.
How is a licence delivered?
Because licences are issued through a supplier, unlike our other services they are not instant — they become active within the same business day.
Choose the licence
Add the licence that matches your account or domain limit to the cart.
Give us the server IP
After payment you enter the IPv4 address the licence will be bound to, from the panel. A wrong IP means the licence will not work, so check it.
We issue it
We issue the licence against your IP address through the supplier and record it so you can see it in the panel.
Install the panel
You install the panel software on your server and validate the licence. Support will guide you if you get stuck.
Before you buy a panel licence
A control panel is software that lets you do things on a server through an interface instead of the command line: create sites, make databases, install SSL, set up mailboxes. It is not technically required — you can manage a server over SSH. Buying a licence is a saving of time, not a necessity.
Licences are issued against a server’s IP address, not against your account. That means you do not have to have bought the server from us; you can buy a licence for a machine at another provider. In return, when the server changes the licence has to be moved to the new IP address — we do that free of charge.
Choosing between cPanel and Plesk is mostly a matter of habit. cPanel is more common in reseller use and in the Linux world; Plesk supports both Linux and Windows, and its WordPress Toolkit is noticeably more practical for managing many sites. Both do the same jobs.
CloudLinux and Imunify360 are not panels; they run underneath one. CloudLinux confines each account to its own resource limits so a single site cannot lock up the server. Imunify360 takes on the firewall and malware scanning. If you sell shared hosting, both matter as much as the panel does.
One last warning: Plesk comes installed on our shared hosting plans and you do not need to buy a licence separately. A licence only makes sense if you manage your own virtual or physical server.
Before you buy
My server is not with you — can I still buy?
Yes. The licence is issued against the server’s IP address; where the machine lives makes no difference. We guide you through installation but we do not make changes on your server on your behalf.
Does my hosting plan include a panel?
It does. Shared hosting plans come with Plesk installed and the licence is included. You do not need to buy one separately; a licence only makes sense for your own server.
What if my server’s IP address changes?
Just tell us from the panel and we move the licence to the new IP address free of charge. You do not have to buy it again.
How quickly does a licence become active?
Unlike our other services, licences are not provisioned instantly; because they are issued through a supplier, they become active within the same business day. We say so up front so that you do not meet an unexpected wait after paying.
Are licence fees refundable?
Once a licence has been issued against your IP address at the supplier it cannot be taken back, so the fee for an issued licence is not refunded. If you cancel before it is issued, you receive a full refund.
Can I move up to a larger licence?
Yes. Raising the account limit does not rebuild the server and the panel data stays in place. You pay only the difference for the remaining term.
I could buy the licence myself — what is the difference?
You can buy directly from the vendor. Buying from us means one invoice, one panel, and IP moves and installation guidance included. We do not claim a price advantage; we claim convenience.
