Your own server, with full control
KVM virtualisation, NVMe storage and root access. Once your identity check clears, your server is set up the same business day. Prices include tax.
Virtual server plans
See the differences line by line so you don't pay for a plan you don't need.
When do you need a virtual server?
Running your own software
If you need to run a service on Node.js, Python, Go or Docker, shared hosting will not do. On a server you install exactly the runtime you want.
A high-traffic site
Once slowdowns caused by shared resources start to bother you, dedicated CPU and RAM make a visible difference.
Agency or reseller use
If you want to gather several client sites on one server and run your own control panel, the server is entirely yours.
Testing and staging
Try things in an environment close to production and rehearse risky changes there first. Snapshots let you roll back after every experiment.
A database server
Keeping the database on a separate server while your application lives elsewhere stops either side from becoming the bottleneck.
If you only need to host a site
If you would rather not manage a server, our hosting plans arrive ready to use — updates and security patches are on us.
Standard on every virtual server
Full root access
The server is entirely yours: install any software, change kernel parameters, write your own firewall rules. None of the restrictions of shared hosting apply.
KVM virtualisation
Resources are separated at the hardware level, so another customer on the same physical machine cannot affect your performance. We do not use a shared kernel as OpenVZ does.
NVMe storage
This is where the difference shows most in database-heavy applications. Read and write latency is markedly lower than on conventional SSDs.
Setup and identity verification
For server services we are legally required to know who uses them. Once your document is approved, your server is set up the same business day and the access details arrive by email. You can choose between Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux.
Snapshots
Take a snapshot before a risky update and roll back to that exact moment in one click if something goes wrong. Snapshots are kept on a separate storage layer.
DDoS protection
Volumetric attacks are filtered at the network edge and stopped before they reach your server. No extra fee, and nothing to request separately.
Console access
If you shut SSH off by accident or a firewall rule locked you out, you can attach to the console from the panel and fix it.
Reverse DNS
A PTR record matters if you plan to send email from the server. You can set the reverse DNS record for your IP address yourself from the panel.
Resource upgrades
Moving to a larger plan increases CPU, RAM and disk without rebuilding the server — your data stays where it is. You pay only the difference for the remaining term.
What happens after you order?
Virtual servers are unmanaged: the operating system and application layer are yours. Hardware, network and virtualisation are our responsibility.
Choose a plan
Pick a plan based on the CPU, RAM and disk you need. If you are unsure, start small — upgrading does not move your data.
Choose an operating system
Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux. If you want to change it later, you can reinstall from the panel.
Receive your access details
Once your identity check clears, the server is set up the same business day; the IP address and root password arrive by email.
Set it up
Connect over SSH and build your environment. Support will point you in the right direction when you get stuck, but we do not make changes on the server on your behalf.
What is a virtual server (VPS)?
A virtual server is an independent machine with its own operating system, created by dividing a physical server through a virtualisation layer. What sets it apart from shared hosting is that the CPU, RAM and disk allocated to you are not shared with another customer.
We use KVM virtualisation. Under KVM each server runs its own kernel; container-based approaches such as OpenVZ share a kernel, which means one customer’s load can affect another. Loading a kernel module or changing a specific kernel parameter is also only possible under KVM.
Virtual servers are unmanaged. That is a division of responsibility rather than a technical limitation: operating system updates, security patches, your backup strategy and application installs are yours. In return, what runs on the server is entirely your decision. If you would rather not take on that responsibility, our hosting plans arrive ready to use.
When sizing resources, RAM is usually the first bottleneck. Database and application processes consume memory quickly, and once memory runs short the system starts swapping to disk and performance drops noticeably. CPU comes to the fore under sustained high traffic or in work such as image and video processing.
Before you buy
Do you manage the server for me?
No — virtual servers are unmanaged: the operating system, updates and application installs are yours. The hardware, network and virtualisation layer are our responsibility. If you want a managed service, look at our hosting plans.
Can I add resources later?
Yes. Moving to a larger plan increases CPU, RAM and disk; your data is not migrated, the same server is grown in place. We charge the difference for the remaining term. Downgrades are only possible at the start of a new term.
Are backups included?
Weekly snapshots are included on all plans and daily snapshots on the Standard plan. A snapshot is not a substitute for a backup strategy; for critical data we recommend running your own backups as well.
Does it come with a control panel?
The server arrives with a bare operating system. If you want Plesk or another panel you can install it with your own licence and our support team will point you in the right direction. A panel licence is not included in the plan.
How many IP addresses do I get?
Each server is allocated one IPv4 address. The Standard plan includes a dedicated IP address. If you need additional IPs, open a request explaining why.
Can I send email from the server?
Technically yes, but new IP addresses have little reputation, so bulk sending may land in spam folders. You can set the PTR record from the panel; for serious volume we recommend a dedicated email service.
Can I change the operating system?
Yes, you can reinstall from the panel. A reinstall wipes the disk, so take a snapshot or download your data first.
Your server is ready minutes after payment
If you are unsure, start with a smaller plan — upgrading does not move your data and you pay only the difference.
